Heading for a bruising

Halloween is fast approaching us and you know how much I love it. Well I do know that not everyone wants to through so much effort and money into it. So I thought I would try and make something simple that would go with any costume, even a fairy costume.

This was so quick and easy to make. All it is, is eye shadows in yellow, black, red, purple and blue. Even a cheap palette will have all of these colours. Now it's just time to make a bit of a mess where ever you want to place the bruise. A tip is to do the borders in yellow.

As I have said before, it can go with any outfit so easy peasy!

Also you don't have to have the bruises where I placed them.

Happy halloween!

Easy family art work

Good evening Glitterbugs,

As you may or not know, as well as loving make up, I also have a website about my love on crafts. Check me out on fb - glitz and brushes crafts.

Anyway today, I decided to make some new bedroom art using photos of my family. In this step by step guide I have used a pic from a magazine.

1: start my selecting a frame and then measure out a sheet of card for your background colour.
2: cut out your photo and trace it onto the main colour card (just the outline).
3: and of course, cut it out.
4: then simply glue it onto the background colour.

Easy as pie.

Dragonfly Lake Nails

I love nail polish, I could play with it all day.

There is something very relaxing about sitting down quietly and being creative.

I came up with this design after spending the day at my local park. Sitting all afternoon by the lake, watching the dragonflies zoom around

This was very simple and quick to do.

All you need is a background colour of your choice. I went for a sky blue.
2 different greens for the reeds and a white to highlight.
I used dragonfly and flower nail stickers on this design as it was quicker but they could also easily be done with a dotting tool.

Perfect for summer nails!

Nail Art

Well as I love all things arty, I have decided to give Nail Art a bash.

I am intending to do a proper course to learn it but have decided to play around about before spending at the money to make sure that I will enjoy it.

I am having a little ball!

Ok these two images are my only 1st time attempts, so I know that they aint prefect but they have come out better then I thought they would so I am pretty happy.

I am going to do the same as with my make up, I will tell you what products (varnishes in this case) that I am using in each creation.

"No Make Up" Make Up

Good evening!

As you know, I hate leaving the house without make up but me skin was well this morning but I decided to do a No Make Up make up look.

The products used
  • Mac Face & Body
  • Maybelline Cream Concealer
  • 2 eye shadows - one skin colour applied all over the lid, and one two shade darker applied to the the socket of the eye to give definition.
  • Maybelline black mascara.
  • Rimmel eyebrow pencil
  • Non shimmer bronzer - applied to the hollows of the cheeks, temples and jaw line. Blend well!
  • Pink blusher - Very pale and non shimmer.
  • Tint lip balm - one tone darker then your natural colour.

Easy to do, this only took about 5 minutes and it fools everyone into thinking you have had a brilliant nights sleep.

Give it and go and fool everyone.
